A new approach of healthcare

Soin Yukido

Yukido® (愉気道) is a deeply effective care utilizing internal sensations to heal with hands. It lies at the crossing point between two complementary approaches, Noguchi’s seitai (整体) and reboutage, which I have investigated for thirty years.

The hand of a Yukido practitioner actively responds to perceived needs and helps the organism to recover its balance with a normalized ground and a soothed psyche. It allows the healing of chronic or disabling pain. Among others: tachycardia, acute neuralgia, migraines, invasive tics, anxiety, sprains, back pain and chronic allergies. Similarly, some degenerative diseases are stabilized by Yukido care which is fully compatible with medicalization and improves tolerance to heavy treatments.

Newborns who sleep poorly or experience pain following a difficult birth are particularly receptive to Yukido care while falling asleep.

For adults and seniors, I also suggest targeted exercises to promote postural balance and the reclaim of their autonomy.

health care and stays

At 5 rue de la Tour, 83340 Les Mayons

Yukido care is practiced in individual sessions at my home or, exceptionally, at the patient’s home when traveling for a short distance.

Different forms of stay are proposed for a series of close sessions.

The process of a care

The person is comfortably lying down and keeps clothes for the duration of the treatment.

Benefit of care

By meeting the perceived needs in terms of temperature, consistencies and movements, my hands favor the rebalancing of the organic terrain: the internal sensations are calmed and normalized, and with them the symptoms.

Le corps accordé

Le Corps accordé (Tuned Body)

Towards a meaningful approach to health and self-care

The founders of Seitai in Japan investigated the therapeutic effect of movements induced by the extrapyramidal motor system. Realizing the potential of the Involuntary will be for the reader an inexhaustible source of reflection and empowerment, enabling a sensitive approach to hands-on healing.

Yukidō practice is illustrated by many examples of taking care of benign chronic conditions that usually resist interventionist care.

At a time the “augmented body” is becoming the norm for our species, a rehabilitation of the involuntary is a landmark for a return of human nature facing the transhuman and posthuman dreams which are trying to control it.

This book is for everyone, physicians, patients, therapists, parents, philosophers and simple explorers of unknown paths, not forgetting the dancers who will enjoy new material for creativity.

Chaud, froid, picotements, crampes, engourdissements…
